MAGNUS — The Art of Grand Entry

Designed as a Statement. Engineered as a Door.

Stone and metal, balanced on a pivot. Built to be the first thing a home says.

MAGNUS is PROCURAL's luxury aluminium pivot door, built for the grand entrances of premium villas, estates, and high-end hospitality projects. Clad in natural stone or metal and balanced on an eccentric pivot, it turns the front door into an architectural statement — a solid, substantial door that swings open with a single hand.
Built on a 96 mm frame with a 96 mm sash, MAGNUS carries sash sizes up to 1400 × 2500 mm and weights over 200 kg, engineered on an eccentric pivot so a heavy leaf opens smoothly and effortlessly. The panel is a double-sided 3 mm aluminium construction with 96 mm filling, wrapped in the cladding of your choice, with a variety of stone, metal, and custom finishes available.
Tested for air permeability up to Class 3, water tightness up to Class 8A, and resistance to wind load up to Class C2, MAGNUS is engineered as an imported, made-to-measure entrance door where each door is customised to suit the architectural intent of the project.

Why MAGNUS Stands Apart

  • A Grand Entrance - Pivot leaves up to 1400 × 2500 mm and over 200 kg, balanced on an eccentric pivot, create an arrival that a standard door cannot — substantial, striking, and effortless to open.
  • Clad to Make a Statement - The aluminium frame is the structure; the cladding is the statement. Natural stone, metal, and custom finishes wrap a solid double-sided panel with 96 mm filling for genuine weight and presence.
  • Engineered to Open Effortlessly - The eccentric pivot mechanism carries a heavy leaf on a smooth, balanced action, so a door weighing over 200 kg opens with a single hand.
  • Made to Measure - Pivot position, cladding material, and hardware are specified per project, so each MAGNUS door is customised to suit the architectural intent of the project.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

Eccentric Pivot Mechanism

The pivot sits slightly off-centre, giving the door a wider opening swing and a softer close. Heavy-duty hardware carries the weight without protest.

Heavy Shutter Capacity

Stone, metal, and thick veneer cladding add real weight. MAGNUS is built to carry it, including stone slab faces that would tear through a standard hinge.

Cladding Options

The door can be wrapped in natural stone, brushed or patinated metal, leather, veneer, or a custom combination. The aluminium frame is the structure. The cladding is the statement.

Made for Grand Entrances

Pivot leaves up to 2.5 m tall, balanced on an eccentric pivot so a 200 kg door swings open with one hand. The first thing a visitor touches engineered to feel like an arrival.

Reliable Sealing Performance

Multi-point sealing closes the door tight against the frame, with real weather performance for a door this large.

Durable Aluminium Construction

A corrosion-resistant aluminium core stays stable under weight and weather. Long lifecycle on a door used every single day.

Bespoke Configurations

Pivot position, cladding material, glass infill, and handle hardware are all custom-specified per project. Each MAGNUS door can be customized to suit the architectural intent of the project.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about this topic.

A pivot door swings on a pivot point at the top and bottom instead of side hinges. The pivot is typically set slightly off-centre, which lets the door open wider, close softer, and carry far heavier shutters than a hinged door of the same size. It is the standard for luxury entrance doors worldwide.
As a heavy duty pivot door 500kg system, it carries up to 500 kg per shutter. That is enough for a real stone slab cladding, a thick metal face, or a heavy veneer assembly without the door sagging or sticking over time.
Yes. Natural stone cladding is one of the signature finishes for MAGNUS. The aluminium core takes the structural load, and the stone face is bonded to it during fabrication.
The panel is a double-sided 3 mm aluminium construction with 96 mm filling, then wrapped in your chosen cladding natural stone, metal, and other options. That solid build is what gives MAGNUS its weight, security, and presence. Where a project needs glazing, a glass panel can be specified as a custom request.
W 1400 x H 2500 mm per shutter. Tall enough to feel like a grand entrance in most villa and corporate building briefs.
Yes. MAGNUS is well suited for bungalow and villa entrances where scale, materiality, and architectural presence are key design requirements.
Yes. Water tightness is rated up to Class 8A and wind resistance up to Class C2. The aluminium core resists corrosion, and the cladding is bonded to handle the same exposure as the rest of the façade.
